What and Why Android?

Welcome! The fact that we are discussing android is it has become very popular and also new market-moving technology platform. This is not just because of the functionality available in the platform but because of how the platform has come to the market.

You have already heard about android. You have already read about android. Now its time to begin unlocking and developing android.

What is android?

Android is an automation that resembles a human being. According to the dictionary android means robot with human appearance. So, the tendency or the behavior of any human is to respond whenever you poke someone or instruct someone, he or she gives you a response. That’s what android does it responds whenever you poke or order.

Most of us perceive android as a mobile operating system, however, it is not limited to mobile devices only. Nowadays, it has become a technology as it is currently used in various devices such as mobiles, tablets, televisions, refrigerator, wearable (watches). Also google is planning to launch android auto .

Android is a complete set of software for mobile devices such as computers, tablet, smartphones, notebooks, electronic book readers, set-top boxes etc. It is developed by google and later the OHA (open handset alliance). Java language is mainly used to write the android code even though other languages  can be used.
